Hello Admins
I have come to feel that TM smiley codes are way too complicated to
be memorized for manual use instead of opening smiley box and selecting
the desired smiley every time. While use of parentheses and braces together
appears to be an overkill, some of the smilies have none of it which adds to
the confusion.
I would highly suggest that every single smiley should have only a certain prefix
instead of varying codes or combinations of codes. I see that static smiles mostly
use colons but smilies in Misc section have an unpredictably confusing pattern of
codes.
I think we should use only colon ) or semi-colon ( for smilies followed by
relative word so that the whole thing could be memorized easily.
For instance:
Instead of
for , we should use
and
for
Instead of
for , we should use just
for , we can use just
and so on and so forth.
Also, very importantly, I would love to see a Most-Used smiley section
in the smiley box alongside other tabs so that I could instantly grab the
smilies I use all the time, instead of looking for them in the sea of smilies.
Well, just a few thoughts, just look into it if they make any sense
