MULTAN: PML-N president Nawaz Sharif said Friday that he was not against the formation of new provinces, Geo News reported.
Sharif added that the formation of provinces should be based on administrative rather than ethnic basis.
The PML-N president was speaking to the media in Multan where he said that residents of Karachi after the Supreme Court verdict should now know who they should vote for.
On Thursday the Supreme Court issued its verdict in the suo moto Karachi violence case in which it stated that people associated with certain political parties were involved in extortion.
PPP, MQM and JI were some of the parties which were mentioned in the Supreme Court verdict.
