KARACHI: In a rare apology, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg on Monday admitted that his team may had have made a mistake in deleting actor Hamza Ali Abbasi’s Facebook post on the Paris attack.
Zuckerberg, in response to a comment on Facebook, said:

Earlier on Sunday evening, Hamza Ali said the social media website had removed his post and warned him after deactivating his profile.

The removal of the post by Facebook was heavily censured since Zuckerberg had just a day ago declared that he would not cow down to extremists and curb speech on his site. The post by Abbasi got over 45,000 likes and some 5,000 shares.
