Yahoo! Launched a new global email service based on its previous one, making it faster, and better and more efficiently integrated with the hot social networks like Twitter and Facebook.
In the coming weeks, the revamped version of Yahoo! Mail will be available in beta form to its 284 million users all around the world.
Yahoo’s vision is to create a smoother path to communication, a better integrated server that people can use different tools to achieve and connect.
"We're delivering on this strategy with the latest version of Yahoo! Mail,” says Blake Irving, Chief Product Officer.
The new version has been specifically designed for speed and convenience to connect to other social networking sites as well as receive Facebook or Twitter updates directly and quickly to their email inbox.
The upgraded software will be available to smartphone maker Nokia.
The search tools have also been enhanced to make it easier for users to find information, pictures and videos in their email inboxes, which is provided with unlimited storage space.
