KARACHI (Online) - This year the ratio of Sadqa-e-Fitr and Fidiya would be Rs 75 for each person.
As per Chairman of Central Ruet-I-Hilal Pakistan, Mufti Muneeb ur Rehman the ratio of pure flour of Sadqa-e-Fiter is Rs 75 for each. As per the rates of oat, the ratio would be Rs 100, for fine Date Rs 860 and for Kishmish Rs 870. Therefore, the total Fidiya of 30 fasting would be respectively Rs 2250, Rs 3000, Rs 25,800 and Rs 26,100. While the Kafaara of Qasm would be respectively Rs 750, Rs 1000, Rs 8600 and Rs 8700.
The real spirit of Sadqa-e-Fiter and Fidiya is may termed as to serve a destitute for two times foodstuff while lunch or dinner from hotel would not be less than Rs 100 per day. Mufti Muneeb urged that all those to whom Allah Almighty has bestowed with His blessings they must according to their standard of life should pay Fittera, Fidiya and Kafaara, so that the difficulties of poor and orphans could be minimized. As the whole nation has been suffering because of price hike, therefore, it is too difficult for the poor to purchase anything.
