The Governor of Sindh is the Chancellor of the University. The Vice Chancellor is the sitting administrative head of the University. The Senate is the Supreme Statutory body where as Syndicate is the Principal Executive Body of the University. For good governance, various statutory bodies have authority as per the University Act to decide for the Academic, Administrative, Financial, Advanced Studies & Research and Consultancy, and Order and Discipline in the University. These statutory bodies include Academic Council, Finance and Planning Committee, Advisory Building Committee, Discipline Committee, Boards of Studies of Departments / Centers, Boards of Faculties, Selection Board and Board of Advanced Studies and Research.
