kisi ko bagh ki ranaiyon main neend aati hai
baharen raqs karti hain magar qoze-qazah ban kar
jawani ki jawan angraiyon main neend aati hai
piyale ki khanak se mast ho jata hai gham aise
ke jaise sanp ko shehnaiyon main neend aati hai
mujhe sahil ke sannate se rahat mil nahi sakti
mujhe tufaan ki gehraiyon main neend aati hai
Adam, farhad sheren ke mehel main so nahi sakta
kada ko sheher ke harjaion main neend aati hai

feeling down and depressed.
Through my window I see a star,

What a feeling that would be,
to have that star trade with me.
All night long from way above,

even though were far apart.

The sun is here, morning appears,
