The company Google added a new feature in its mapping service, a new “weather layer. Now directly on Google Maps you can see in what areas the weather at a given time period. Data will be collected from Weather.com and will include information concerning temperature, cloud cover, humidity, wind and precipitation
At this point the layer with the weather is only available for the desktop version of Google Maps. The company’s comments on when such a function will appear on mobile applications, yet.
