Raksha Bandhan is around the corner and even Bollywood's siblings are gearing up for the festival which celebrates the bond shared by brothers and sisters. When Ranbir Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor shared the couch on Koffee With Karan, the revelations did not go well down with Kareena’s image of the Bollywood Heroine. According to Ranbir, once playing with the kids near the dirty drain behind her house, Kareena dived into it mistaking it for a swimming pool. Also, while playing ‘House House’ with Riddhima and Kareena, Ranbir used to play the double role of their husbands.
All hell went loose when the three Khans: Salman, Arbaaz and Sohail came together on Dus Ka Dum. Salman Khan revealed that Arbaaz is called Pappu at home and all three stand up or shift positions when they get a call from their daddy. The Kick actor also disclosed that once he was studying History ahead of the Geography exam and on knowing this, Arbaaz started teasing him that he would now fail in the exam. An irritated Salman threw a pencil towards Arbaaz which hit him in the middle of his bare chest like a dart.
On Koffee With Karan, Saif Ali Khan had no excuse for not seeing Soha Ali Khan’s first blockbuster Rang De Basanti, even after a year of its release. Saif used to baby sit eight years younger Soha Ali Khan in England where he took her pocket money amounting to about 5 pounds. He even took her to a pub at the age of five and made her do ‘aadab’ to all the English people. During their childhood days, Soha thought that Saif would end up becoming a guitarist of a small band.
Priyanka Chopra is a lucky sister whose brother Siddharth Chopra is studying culinary skills. Although he is seven years younger to her, he is already committed to his longtime girlfriend Kanika. Priyanka had said in an interview that since she loves food and Siddharth is a great chef, he always cooks a special meal for her whenever they are together. The former beauty queen also said that though she sends rakhis to her brother and cousins every year, it would be good if they also send gifts in return.
Little do people know that Shweta stopped reading newspapers forever after reading a bitter article about her brother Abhishek Bachchan. Sharing the couch with pa Amitabh Bachchan on Koffee With Karan, she confessed calling the article the ‘character assassination’ of her brother. The doting sister also shared in an open letter to her brother published in a leading magazine that how Abhishek wanted to become Amitabh Bachchan and not an actor. He used to shoot Shweta’s dolls and teddy bears with his toy guns while enacting Big B’s onscreen roles.
Sharing the couch on Rendezvous with Simi Garewal, Priya Dutt revealed that Sanjay Dutt wrote sad letters from his boarding school to sister Namrata Dutt, asking for money and not to tell this to their mother. And Namrata used to send him her pocket money without anyone knowing. Priya Dutt also revealed that she scolded Sanjay Dutt, who was seven years older, for coming late and other such issues. The caring sister also said that she would like him to get rid of his gullibility.
