Speaking to media representatives, Taseer said "government decisions were being rushed into while on the other hand Shahbaz Sharif was sitting on a restraining order".
He further said that the whole country was looking toward the judiciary and the people hoped that the courts will be impartial.
He defended the appointment of the chairman for the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) saying that Deedar Hussain Shah was a respected judge and should therefore be accepted.
Taseer said issuing warnings of long march amidst the destruction caused by the floods was deplorable.
