The Bollywood super star and actor Akshay Kumar has returned as the host of the television show called ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’. And apparently his return to the show has worked wonders as this edition – the fourth one to be exact – has managed to obtain the maximum ratings as compared to the prior seasons of the show. According to the official data offered by the rating agency called Audience Measurement and Analytics Ltd (aMap), the TV show hosted by Akshay Kumar generated a Television Rating Point of 3.7, which is quite a lot.
This Indian version of the ‘Fear Factory’ show was launch on the 3rd of June and managed to surpass everyone’s expectations. Jiniti Shah, the vice president aMap commented in a press release that it was in fact the return of the Bollywood super star and actor Akshay Kumar on the sets of the show the reason why the audience tuned it to see it in such a large number – bigger than ever before in its history.
Compared to this one, we have to point out that the premiere episode of the prior season of the show – which was presented by none other than the tinsel town actress Priyanka Chopra – managed to gather a television Rating Point of 2.4 – considerable less, we have to say. As for the debut episodes of the first two seasons, hosted by the same actor Akshay Kumar received 1.6 and respectively 2.9 in terms of ratings. We don’t know what Akshay Kumar did different on this season of ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’, but it seems to have worked rather well.
This forth season of the show in question was filmed in Cape Town and presented female celebrities from many fields of work, including the showbiz area, each of the being paired with a male participant.
