Rangers spokesman said targeted raids were conducted in Khyber Hotel, Malir Reti Plot, Shah Faisal Colony, Saadi Town, Landhi Number 2, Old Sabzi Mandi, Model Colony, Mianwali Colony, Angara Goth, Liaqatabad Farid Colony, Frontier Colony Banaras, Pak Colony Mehmoodabad, Azam Town and Kalakot Lyari areas in wee hours.
He said snap checking was also carried out at Murtaza Chowk, Landhi area.
He said during raids 21 criminals including Lyari Gang War elements and target killers affiliated with political party involved in heinous crimes have been arrested while weapons including SMGs, hand grenades, walkie talkies and mixed ammo were also recovered from their possession. (PPI)
