As-Salaam alaikum,
In Ayat 46 0f Surat Kahfi of the Holy Qur'an (18:46), Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says:--

"WEALTH AND CHILDREN ARE THE EMBELLISHMENT OF WORLDLY LIFE,
AND THE GOOD THINGS THAT LAST (al-baqiyat-as-salihat) ARE GREATER
WITH YOUR LORD AND GREATER IN EXPECTATION."

Material things are short-lived and temporary, but "the good things that last" will remain and endure for ever. That is, their reward will continue into the hereafter, and the hereafter is far better and everlasting.

What are "THE GOOD THINGS THAT LAST"? The Prophet, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam, told us what they are in a Hadith in which one of his companions, Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that the Messenger of Allah, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam, said:--

"Make plenty of 'the good things that last (al-baqiyat salihat)'. It was said:
And what are they O Messenger of Allah?"

He said: "TAKBIR (Saying: ALLAHU AKBAR), TAHLIL (Saying: LA-ILAHA ILLALLAH),
TAHMID (Saying: ALHAMDULILLAH), and saying: LA-HAWLA WALA QUWATA ILLA BILLAH."
[Bukhari, Muslim].

Also, the Prophet, alaihis-Salaat Was-Salaam, said:--

"The most beloved words to Allah are 4: SUBHANALLAH; ALHAMDULILLAH;
LA-ILAHA ILLALLAH; ALLAHU AKBAR." [Sahih Muslim].

In view of the foregoing, we should include lots of the recital of the 'baqiyat-salihat' in our daily Zikr, when we come to remember Allah, in the mornings and evenings... as well as the 4 most beloved words to Allah, Azzah Wa Jallah, as in the above Hadith.

May Allah Ta'ala Help us on His Straight Path... ameen.
