The Clarion Hotel in Stockholm is the first to let you use your phone as your room key. Just place your phone near the lock, and in a tenth of a second, the Near Field Communication (NFC) sensors verify your identity and open the door.
Pretty soon all we'll need to carry around is our mobile phone - leave the wallet and keys at home.
