A Geo TV Morning Show host & Sister of Sahir Lodhi, Dr Shaista Wahidi filed her divorced few day before & she is again single now. Shaista Lodhi case against her husband and shifted from his Husband (Waqar Wahidi) house to her own House in defense while her husband still lives in Nazimabad. Shaista Lodhi married with Waqar Wahidi January 17, 1999. She have three children name Shafay , Faiz and Eeman. She was Awarded in three ceremonies City Talent Women Awards , Dalda Expert Mom (Honorary Award) & Pakistan Media Awards for Best Anchor .​

Last year she went on vacation to Thailand with her kids only. She was going through a lot of stress for a long time now that is why she was not hosting her show in Ramadan. But now she is back after a long time. She always used to put Wahidi with her name but now she calls herself as Dr Shaista. When asked about who is responsible for her success she said her family and her kids no mention of husband. She was looking very dull at the set of the morning show and she lost lot of weight too. Well, according to the latest updates her divorce has become finalized and Shaista is a single women from today. She confirmed the news of her divorce by calling herself Shaista Lodhi on her morning show Utho Jaago Pakistan on Geo TV network.​

Her husband wanted her to give more time and attention towards their family rather than hosting and dancing on TV shows. And it is also said that she will not be making any appearances on TV until her Iddat period is complete.​

HUm shaista ko daikhte hain jaante nhi hain,,aur shaista k husband ko to daikhey bhi nhi who knows kia problems thi(morning show ki jahan tak baat hay to aaj majority larkiyan working women hain )..usually hamare comments tasweer ka aik rukh daikh k hi hote hain which should be avoided ,,AIk banda pehle hi kisi tragedy se guzra hay is tara ki batain phailaane se hum uski azziyat may mazeed izafa to kar sakte hain us k liye behtari nhi kar sakte! we should pray for both families!

You got me wrong hoorain, I personally before saying or spreading any news make myself sure and then pass my views, I didnt said that I accuss her for this break up but actually I said "she'll be accused for her broken marriage'' means by media and people. and guess what that's happening, regarding to her divorce many people accused her and some accused his husband, aap sahi kah rahe ho hum aur aap nai jante k kia horaha hai enke life mei but she is a media person and verily media knows about her more than us,
I got this from a website with the confirmation news of her divorce " Talking about the public views, some people blame Shaista for divorce while some blame her husband. Some say Maybe its the greed for quick big money that causes rifts in families and husbands and wives, or the stress of the job.Reports indicated that Shaista’s husband was against her from being on television, dancing on the show,showing off expensive dresses, etc."
and at last I'll say a media person can be judged more by media not by what we think, aur Shaista k shows mai ne kafi dekhe hain to be honest she doesnt use her mind properly jho bhi bolti hain bena soche samjhe and that's how she come out with a wrong decision.

Hmmmmm Iam not a religious person but Iam just a practicing muslimah, there are lackness which I just wanna improve, but Iam not complete in my deen. tu aap mujhay religious hune ka azaaz na de because honeslty Iam not that religious ager aap mere comment and views jho aapko diye us lehaz se kah rahe then voh her ek muslim ka farz hain and if by your opinion that person is religious then every muslim is Religious.
