Introduction to NTS:

NTS
stands for National Testing Service. Within the essential principle of raising the quality of education, an important objective of NTS is to establish a trustworthy, credible, technically suitable and perfect system of performance assessment for students of various educational institutions at different levels. It thus assists in carrying out an estimated ranking of students for admissions in various educational institutions. NTS is providing quality Services in educational testing and assessment mechanisms.
NTS now has growing linkages and associations with educational and professional organizations & institutions, including those engaged in talent search and career & educational promotion activities, at the national and international levels.

NTS provides services for conducting different Test by providing facilities both for individual candidates and institutions. These tests are prepared and assessed by experts and professionals of relevant fields.

How to Apply:

  • [/GLOW]Get NTS registration form and bank deposit slip downloadable from NTS website www.nts.org.pk, daily New papers or reproduce them as per given sample.
  • The form is also available inside the User Guide.
  • Deposit Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) through the prescribed online bank.
  • Deposit slip in the online branches.
  • The branches are MCB Bank Ltd (MCB), United Bank Limited Pakistan (UBL), Habib Bank Limited (HBL) or Allied Bank Limited (ABL).
  • See bank service charges on deposit slip.
  • Attach 2 photographs (1 x 1.5 inch) at the front of this Registration Form.
  • All candidates are required to provide their photographs with full face exposure.
  • Do not send any documents other than two photos and original bank deposit slip along with your NAT Registration Form.
NAT Instructions:

Please follow these instructions carefully
  1. Reporting Time at test centre as mentioned on Roll Number Slip.
    No candidate will be allowed in the test centre after specified time.
  2. Candidates will have to show their Roll Number Slips at the entry point of the test centre. Without the Roll Number Slip candidates will not be allowed for the test.
  3. Question booklets will be in five different shuffles. Each question booklet will be sealed and opened by the candidates at the Start of test. Do not break the seal till the test starts.
  4. No candidate will be allowed to leave the seat during the test except for an un-avoidable reason e.g. toilet usage, that to in the escort of an invigilator.
  5. All papers will be collected at the end of test and candidates will not be allowed to move from the seats till the final count after the collection of the paper.
  6. Don’t take calculators, mobile phones and wrist watches with calculator in the test center.
  7. Shading/filling of two answers against single question is wrong. It will be marked ZERO.
  8. Over-writing and cutting near answer circle or anywhere on answer sheet will divert the readability and may be marked ZERO in the specific answer circle.
  9. Only Use Blue Or Black Ball Pen To Shade/Fill The Circles.
  10. Don’t bring any other stationary item including rough/extra sheets as two blank sheets for rough work are placed inside the Question booklet.
  11. Use of any other material that is not provided by NTS will be illegal and subject to punitive action.
  12. Don’t write anything on Question Booklet except your Name, Roll No and Sign on the front title of Question Booklet before attempting the questions.
  13. The Question Booklet will be taken back after the test is over. So don’t try to tear or remove any page from question booklet. No one is allowed to keep any part of it.
  14. Do not ask the invigilation staff about the content of questions. They are not allowed to explain or correct any question in the paper. The checking system has the capability to determine the invalid/wrong questions and adjust accordingly.
  15. Every candidate is required to sign the attendance sheet, brought to her/him by the invigilators. The Roll No Slips will also be collected by the same staff after the attendance is completed.
  16. You are bound to NTS discipline rules till you leave the test center premises.
  17. Any disturbance in any way caused by you will disqualify you from the test and NTS reserves the rights to carry out legal action against such attempt.
  18. The chief supervisor has complete authority to cancel any paper at any stage if the behavior of the candidate is found against the discipline.
  19. One page printed Answer Sheet is provided to answer the questions. Use only ball pen (black/ blue) to shade/fill the circles. (Bring pen / clip board with you, erasing materials are not allowed.)
  20. Answer sheet contains five circles containing five options of answer for one question, containing alphabets from A to E inside, against each question number. The candidate has to completely shade/fill one circle that she/he thinks is correct. For example the candidate feels that the correct answer of the given question is 'A', then she/he may shade/fill the circle having alphabet 'A' with ball pen like this:
NAT test pattern:

National Aptitude Test (NAT) is for admissions in NTS Associated Universities/ DAIs. The candidates will appear in a single test only and will stand eligible for admission to all universities in the respective subject group.
The candidates will be required to apply for admission in the universities as per their respective announcements along with a copy of the NTS Result Card.
The Result of the NAT will be valid for ONE YEAR Mobile phones are not allowed in Test Center Premises.
National Aptitude Tests (NAT) will be conducted in two categories
  • Category One
    Three types of paper for candidates having 12 year education
  • Category Two
    Five types of paper for candidates having 14 year education
