As-Salaam alaikum,
Islamic Thought is divided into 3 basic principles, namely :
(1) The Unity of Allah (Tawheed)
(2) Prophecy (Nubuuwa) and
(3) Eschatology (Maad) or questions pertaining to the next world.

Islam defines the Unity of God with the statement, "There is no god but God.. LA ILAHA ILLALLAHU", a famous formula that make up half of the Islamic testimony (the second half being 'MUHAMMAD RASOOLULLAH.. Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah)'

This declaration of God's Unity does not mean simply that God is one. It means that everything in the universe has been brought into existence by a single Reality. God created all things through His Power and Wisdom.
The second principle declared that God has sent prophets to every nation on earth, reminding people why He created them and what is expected from them. The Qur'an maintains that all of the prophets brought a single basic message.. "There
