The project was submitted to the Provincial Government for funding which was approved with a total cost of Rs.16.193 million. A Research and Convention Center will be constructed under the project with space for a Convention Hall, Exhibition Gallery, Conference Room, and Offices etc. The project aims to conduct research into the history of Hazara region with particular focus on the movement led by Syed Ahmed Shaheed Barelvi. Conferences, Seminars, Workshops will be arranged at the center on related themes. The contract for civil works has been awarded to M/s Raja Adalat on August 01, 2007 and will be completed on August 01, 2008.
