Haier — a renowned brand in consumer electronics — announced the launch of its smartphone range in Pakistan. Company introduced four affordable Android smartphone and six low-cost feature phones.

Haier Mobile will be managed in Pakistan by Ruba-SEZ Group that aims to provide quality Mobile Phone products at affordable price to the masses, creating a distinctive statement.
For those who don’t know, Ruba SEZ, for over a period of more than 13 years, has partnered with numerous companies from all over China including, but not limited to the likes of Haier, Opple Lighting, Real Force Group, Metallurgical Group Corporation, Shifeng Group, and most recently Jomoo Group.
According to Mr. Shah Faisal Afridi Haier, the president of Ruba-SEZ Group, Mobile vision is to deliver accessible technology, and become pillar of growth for the nation.
Mr. Zeshan Qureshi, CEO of Haier Mobile, was also present at the launch event who took great pride in announcing the launch of Haier mobiles phone range. He said that the product range of Haier Mobile is crafted to perfection. The full range consists of three tier Klassic, Pursuit, and Esteem are brilliantly designed for Pakistani market as they cater to every segment seamlessly.
Mr. Zhangzhong CEO Qingdao Haier Telecom Co. Ltd, also graced the event with his presence.
Founded in 1984, Haier Group is headquartered in Qingdao, Shandong Province, the PRC and is today one of the world’s leading white goods home appliance manufacturers. The products of Haier Group are now sold in over 100 countries.
In October 2009, Haier was ranked first in Fortune Magazine’s “China’s Most Admired Companies.”

ESTEEM
The Esteem series comprises two devices with following specs:
Haier Esteem i70 Specifications
The Pursuit series also has two smartphones catered for users with limited budget. They include Pursuit G30 with 4.5 inch screen and 1.3 GHz dualcore processor and Pursuit G20 with 4 inch screen and 1.2 GHz processor.

This series comprises 6 feature phones; one of which supports 3G. Prices for Klassic series start from Rs. 2,000.
Accidental and Theft Insurance for Haier Phones
All Haier smartphones, in partnership with Aon, come with “Haier Protect+” that offers free coverage for any accidental and theft losses for Haier smartphones.
The complimentary “Haier Protect+” insurance, which is underwritten by Security General Insurance, provides the following benefits:
Repair or Replacement of smartphone in case of Accidental losses (Physical & Liquid Spillage)
Replacement of smartphone in case of Theft
Haier Smartphones Come with Free Personal Insurance
On top of any accidental and theft insurance for Haier Smartphones, on purchase of a new Haier Smartphone, the owners are going to receive an exclusive Aon and Manchester United insurance card.
The free personal accident insurance, which is underwritten by Security General Insurance, provides indemnity of PKR 20,000 in the event of accidental death.
